A comprehensive and ongoing awareness campaign that aims to raise community awareness of the importance of rationalizing and increasing the efficiency of energy consumption. The campaign seeks to change community behaviors by launching awareness messages that focus on specific topics and providing practical advice for rationalizing energy consumption.
Based on the Royal Decree No. (5604) dated 05/02/1439 AH, which stipulates in Clause (Fifth) “Every government agency shall coordinate with the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center to prepare and implement programs and activities to educate its employees about the importance of rationalizing electricity consumption", Based on the center’s role in improving energy consumption, awareness programs are implemented on the importance of rationalizing energy consumption in government agencies so that rationalization becomes a continuous behavior among employees of these agencies.
The center implements awareness programs for male and female public education students, with the aim of spreading awareness of the importance of rationalizing and increasing the efficiency of energy consumption. These programs include interactive activities, materials, and productions that encourage male and female students to adopt positive behaviors when consuming energy.
This project targets children aged 4 to 12 years, and aims to build a generation that adopts energy-saving behaviors, using modern and attractive tools and means such as competitions, cartoon series, and mobile exhibitions in various cities of the Kingdom, to deliver messages in fun and effective ways.
