King Fahd University Honors Saudi Energy Efficiency Center on Innovation Day

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) has honored the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC)during its “Innovation Day” event, held at the university’s campus in Dhahran.

This recognition highlights SEEC’s pioneering role in supporting the Energy Efficiency Research Center of Excellence and its active contributions to advancing the field.

The honorary shield was received on behalf of SEEC’s Director General by Eng. Sultan Al-Mutairi, in the presence of several university officials and representatives from government and private entities.

This honor underscores the ongoing national collaboration between scientific institutions and entities dedicated to developing energy efficiency in the Kingdom.

SEEC is considered one of the primary drivers in this sector, leading a range of innovative initiatives aimed at improving energy consumption efficiency in critical sectors such as buildings, transportation, industry, and public utilities. SEEC’s efforts span multiple areas, including supporting cooperation initiatives with national universities, developing technical standards and regulations, empowering national talent through specialized training programs, and implementing awareness campaigns to promote responsible energy consumption behaviors. The Center has also launched several digital platforms to provide beneficiaries with seamless access to its services and applications, contributing to the achievement of the Kingdom’s energy efficiency goals.
