SEEC Starts Energy Conservation Campaign

Today, the awareness campaign titled "Energy Efficiency... A Shared Responsibility" was initiated, organized by the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC) in cooperation and coordination with government entities over a period of five days. The campaign targets employees of these entities, aiming to raise their awareness of the importance of conserving energy in the public sector and applying practices and behaviors that achieve this goal.
The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center is keen to diversify its awareness programs directed at government institutions by holding awareness workshops for their employees, or through the production of various awareness materials, including videos and designs, which are shared with entities to encourage employees to adopt energy-saving behaviors and reduce unnecessary energy consumption in workplaces.
The center also works on developing an annual plan for awareness programs and providing it to government institutions. Additionally, it holds introductory workshops with representatives of these entities and coordinates with them regularly regarding awareness programs. The center also prepares periodic and semi-annual reports on the entities’ awareness efforts, which further supports and strengthens ongoing efforts to improve energy consumption efficiency in their facilities.
