The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC) aims to enhance energy efficiency in the utilities sector, which accounts for approximately 38% of the Kingdom’s total primary energy consumption. This is pursued through the development of policies, regulations, and procedures in cooperation with relevant entities. The scope of work covers existing and new facilities, including electricity generation, cogeneration, water desalination plants, and transmission and distribution networks—whether in operation, feasibility study, design, or implementation phases.
