The buildings sector accounts for approximately 30% of the total primary energy consumption in the Kingdom. SEEC seeks to enhance energy efficiency in this sector by developing technical regulations, policies, systems, and procedures in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. The scope of work covers government, commercial, and residential buildings, addressing construction systems as well as electrical and electronic systems and appliances used in these buildings.
